Maybe great for liquid stains, not sure, but my boys play soccer at recess and come home with really dirty shirts. I hoped the dirt would be washed off sooner but no. I prewashed it according to the instructions but I still couldn't get rid of some of the dirt. However, my boys found Mir to be more comfortable in it than the white french toast t-shirts we usually buy for school.
