Review on Advanced Caller ID-Enabled AT&T πŸ“ž TR1909 Trimline Corded Phone in Stylish White by Kenneth Harris

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I couldn't have asked for a better phone.

In my opinion this is the best landline phone I have ever owned or seen! Hard to believe it's so cheap. You can use it both on the table and on the wall. It features SCREEN caller ID, a mute button, 2 ringtone volume settings, a PLUS ringtone OFF switch, a button to dial any number displayed on the screen and only one REDIAL button. It has 3 volume settings for the voice. It's such a good deal that I bought two just in case they decide to stop making them or if they mess up the features by releasing a new model. My order was to replace one (of the same model) that I had dropped several times. (It had to be reset many times before it stopped working.) I have a second of the same model that has worked great for years. They show no signs of wear, unless of course they have been mistreated. They use batteries (four AA) but they last a long time before needing to be replaced. Another reviewer spoke about the weakness of the caller ID screen. When this happens I think it's time to change the batteries. Otherwise, I had no trouble reading the screen. For example, "Tilt" is not required. (This is a later edit: Batteries MAY need to be replaced more frequently than I previously indicated above.)

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Feels light and flimsy; hard-to-read dial. Nowhere near the value of the standard Trimline 210.
