GREAT PHONE! Just be sure to read the installation instructions

I've searched the whole Revain website for a top quality phone and for me this phone has met all my expectations. It has all the bells and whistles you would expect from a small wired phone. You can use it as a desk phone or turn it into a wall phone. GOOD TIP: To turn your desk phone into a wall phone, MAKE SURE YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!. The phone comes with a mount that needs to be rotated 180 degrees and re-attached to fit a standard phone line wall mount.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Great little phone at a decent price

I was hesitant because of the negative reviews but decided to take a chance and am glad I did. It's a lovely little phone with a flashing red light on the handle indicating an incoming call, just like my old one. The caller ID feature requires batteries, but they last forever. Deleting numbers is easy, just use up/down keys to scroll and delete key to get rid of unwanted callers. I haven't tried programming the keyboard to autodial yet, but will do so soon. The base can easily be adapted to a…

No more calls

Decent cheap phone. I only needed this phone because I have a fax machine and have to pay for phone service, and I didn't have a phone at home. I use my cell phone and this one just hangs on the wall. Works well, the sound is clear, calls. I just wish caller ID didn't need batteries to work. ** Updated 11/07/15. Initially I was very happy with this phone. I put 4 stars, now 1 star. He doesn't even call anymore and I miss the calls I get. Now I'm looking for another phone again. I think you…

Good Value $$

The AT&T TR1909 is a very good value phone with a lot of features. It is ready to use as a desk phone. Yes, you need to put in 4 AA alkaline batteries if you want memory backup and want features like caller ID and usage meter to work. But if you don't care, or if the phone is just a spare, just plug in the modular cables and you're good to go. If you want to use the phone in place of an existing wall phone, you must install the included wall bracket that attaches to the wall outlet that you…

Don't buy this wall phone

I've had cutouts for years but I wanted to identify the caller's number and now I need it. Unfortunately I bought it over a year ago so AT&T made me buy a wall mount to hold the phone on the base when hanging as the phone will NOT stay on the base. Yes, I turned the manual dial to the correct position. I doubt a new tab will be an improvement. Portion of 59 cents, $2. Shipping and Taxes 0.04. Of course, if the handset falls off the base, which often happens, it will be registered as busy on all

I've relied on AT&T Model 210 Trimline desk phones from Revain for years. They're amazingly cheap, beautifully designed, extremely durable and strong (in the sense that they can withstand falls), and they have great sound, as well as a backlit keyboard that doesn't require batteries. Unfortunately, I bought this TR1909 model as an experiment. -- I thought it was time to install Caller ID -- but I'm disappointed. Yes, it's pretty cheap too, but the device feels light and flimsy, is more…

I couldn't have asked for a better phone.

In my opinion this is the best landline phone I have ever owned or seen! Hard to believe it's so cheap. You can use it both on the table and on the wall. It features SCREEN caller ID, a mute button, 2 ringtone volume settings, a PLUS ringtone OFF switch, a button to dial any number displayed on the screen and only one REDIAL button. It has 3 volume settings for the voice. It's such a good deal that I bought two just in case they decide to stop making them or if they mess up the features by…

Needs more weight and HARD TO READ - Salvation Army donation

Simply good. normal business phone. I bought this to replace the cordless phone in my bedroom so I wouldn't have to worry about charging it. Pros: - Trimline. doesn't take up much space - Three levels of volume control Cons: - The cable stuck in the wall didn't fit. Had to remove one from a phone already installed/used elsewhere in the house. - I have this to put my bed on. The spiral cable is too short. When you pick up the phone and try to speak. The phone falls off the bedside table. It just
