Well I've had this unit for a month or two now. So far it's been pretty good. I installed it in an E55 with a Harmon Kardon system (yes it will work if you know what you are doing). The mount is perfect, looks like it should be there (which was very important to me). It is tied to the car's Canbus system, so the steering wheel controls work without programming, responding to the reverse signal and turning on like a master unit when the key is inserted. I bought an optical converter for a factory amp and all I had to do was clip the optical cable into the plastic clip that came with it to make it fit. I use a hotspot with my phone to connect and it's a bit slow to open apps and navigate (that's my only real complaint). So far I've downloaded YouTube, Amazon Music, Wayz, and Google Maps. I usually just listen to music from my phone via Bluetooth on fast drives. Big bang for the dollar unit. I would buy it again. So far, so good.
