I've read that it's important to have different rings if you don't want to spoil your taste when pressure cooking. For example, if you're preparing something sweet, you don't want the garlic flavor to dominate your food. I like that these rings are different colors. This will help me differentiate between different uses for rings. I didn't want to mark them with Permanent Magic Marker so I'll use colors as a good coding system. I plan to use blue for baked goods, red for savory/spicy foods, and clear for delicate foods (like egg slices or quiches). I want to know that I have extra o-rings in case my original one wears out. The Goldlion rings went perfectly with my ninja meal and it was very economical to get three extra rings. I used the red ring to make my broccoli (garlic) cheese soup and my husband and I really enjoyed the finished product. Delicious! I've found the perfect way to store extra rings. I have placed the 3M Command hooks in my closet and they are kept alongside my other Foodi accessories and are easily accessible.
