Having just started leatherworking I was excited to use these stamps for the first time on the sheaths I make. As a beginner, the low price lured me. This is definitely the case when you get what you pay for. Luckily I practiced on leather scraps first before ruining one of my suitcases. Information about the impression of the stamp did not exist. The basket weave print in particular was so blurry that you couldn't line up the next print, and it got worse as I continued to leave a crooked pattern. I kept trying different stamping methods to get a clean print, but to no avail. I finally gave up. I then went to the local Tandy Leather Store and bought a basket weave for $6.99. I could tell just by looking at the Tandy brand that the difference would be day and night. I wasn't wrong. Spend a few bucks more for a quality print. This changes things significantly.
