Review on ๐Ÿ›๏ธ Ender 3 - 235" Tempered Glass Print Bed for 3D Printer by Keith Harris

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice and flat. for 3D printer parts and supplies

This is a steal at $25 for two pieces of flat glass perfect for the Ender 3's bed. I used chemical etching on the surface of one side of the glass to give it a "tooth" for adhesion. So far this has worked very well. For the few pieces that take up most of the bed surface, I still spritz on a light coat of hairspray for reassurance. assuming these are all 8-12 hour prints with a fine mesh face. Very difficult prints for a budget machine like the Ender 3, but this glass surface makes it possible. I've printed PLA at 210ยฐ with a heatbed up to 50ยฐ and the prints have held up perfectly. When the glass cools, the imprints will burst on their own. The main thing is to make the bed properly, otherwise neither glue nor hairspray will help. Don't waste your money on overpriced borosilicate glass that breaks easily, tempered glass works just as well if not better.

Pros
  • 3D printer supplies
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
