If you cook seriously or like me for a living (I'm a chef) YOU MUST have this knife. This item is absolutely amazing in every way imaginable - let me explain why I am so happy with my purchase. Japanese Super Steel Damascus not only looks amazing, especially with this tsunami rose pattern, but is on par with the best steels on the market. . I own many other brands including Shun, Bob Kramer and Miyabi and they just can't compete with this beast. This is the deepest blade I have, 56mm, so not only does it give more knuckle room (I'm 6ft 4" and have big hands), it also serves as an extra surface to move food from the cutting board onto pots and transfer pans. The tapered roller is perfect for plucking, which I prefer. I can't fault the pen and would go one step further - couldn't even suggest improving it. Incredibly comfortable, fits my hands perfectly and is shaped in a way that not only offers maximum functionality but also looks special lying on the bench (already 2 of my chefs have ordered after seeing mine). Zelite says it's their Bentley-class mosaic rivet. Until you see them in real life, that statement doesn't make much sense - flawless! It comes with a real black leather sheath which is incredibly high quality, thick, looks solid and will hold the knife. safe and perfect. External presentation box - I really don't want to be without it anymore. If you've ever seen an Aston Martin Black DB9 or similar luxury sports car and felt like getting high, picking up this box will get you. Absolutely amazing quality. It can be used for storage but if you know that special someone who loves to cook or is a professional chef I would highly recommend this as the ABSOLUTE BEST gift they can ever get. You get the point - I love this knife and would like to give it 10 stars. I have all Alpha-Royal Zelite knives, but this knife has taken them to a whole new level.
