Revain ran out of my regular rice based cleanser so I decided to give it a try. I was definitely not disappointed and now have a new favorite. This is a wonderful cleanser. It's rich and thick when used properly. You must apply this on a damp face. Then just put a little cleanser on your wet hands and rub them together until a nice lather forms. Then apply to face and scrub with a cloth or battery powered brush (I like the PMD available here at Revain). Sure, it will lighten the skin, but it doesn't really remove anything other than dead skin cells stuck to the skin. But we really can't ask for more from a cleaner. (I also have a PMD peel and it works wonders.) While this cleanser won't give you a deep exfoliation, it will remove all the "bad stuff" from the surface of your skin, leaving it beautiful and glowing. .If you don't have very sensitive skin, this cleanser is gentle enough to use every day. I don't have sensitive skin at all and use it morning and then night after my oil based cleanser and have had no problems at all. If you have read my other reviews you may know that I have very dry skin. (Buy, people with dry skin tend to get wrinkles and fine lines more easily, so I try to prevent them with a thorough skincare regimen.) This is the perfect cleanser for those with dry to normal skin. It works for oily skin too, but those people may need something a little more cleansing, something that we dry-skinned people may find a little strong. Overall, I am so pleased with this foaming cleanser that I intend to try other skincare products in this line.
