UPDATE: Contacts lasted exactly one year before I accidentally moved and installed my truck horn. Not particularly upset, but a little upset that I have to do it again. It's better than paying hundreds for an OEM key that does the exact same thing. ---------------- That helped. I really wanted it because of the silicone part with contacts, but the plastic case is also worth saving. I wanted to keep the RAM logo on my key so I took what I needed. You can easily swap the insides of the original key and it will fit perfectly. In summary, the contacts have a more tactile and audible click than any OEM has ever had. I'll order another one for my other key. Better to pay hundreds at the dealer for a replacement.
