It is not very convenient that it is impossible to remove or install without removing the plugs, which are respectively locked with a key. It’s not clear to whom this is necessary, in my opinion, trunks have not been stolen for a long time, and whoever wants that plastic plug will not stop. The plugs are pretty flimsy and the lock cylinders are flimsy, not sure if they will last long. And also it is possible to install and remove supports only with a hexagon. On the previous Mont Blanc, neither keys nor hexagons were needed - you want to lock it or not. In addition, the compatibility data is incorrect. This Air 2 model is said to fit all cars with integrated roof rails. It suited the Tuareg, but for example, it didn’t work on the BMW X3 F25 with similar integrated roof rails - the shape of the railing is slightly different and it doesn’t capture it. Although the table says that they are compatible. I put 3 bikes on the mounts on the arcs. I drove for 2 hours on the M11 scarf, the speed was about 110-120. Mounting Montblanc, the instructions say speed up to 120 km / h. I began to shoot great, I look - the front arc with fasteners from the air pressure slid back along the rails by 20 centimeters! (bike racks are rigidly attached only to the front arc, to the rear - a floating mount). I checked the tightening of the supports on the rails - it is tightened to the conscience. That is, the clamping system to the railing is not worked out and does not withstand a strong flow of incoming air! It's good that it worked out for me, but imagine if on the motorway a bicycle from my roof flies into someone's windshield !
