but my birds are like children, they usually have no motivation to work.
The plastic is strong enough that the macaw doesn't break, but the treats I tried to use, shelled nuts, are too small and fall out of the slots. The pellet feed I use (Harrisons) also falls out of the slots. The food that doesn't fall out of the toy are large chunks of fruit and veg, but my birds are like children, they don't have the motivation to work on most fruits and veg, so I'm still working on that. I like that I can completely disassemble and wash it easily.
