Review on 🔧 Hooke Road Dead Pedal + Gas Enhancer Extension Kit for Jeep Wrangler JK & Unlimited 2007-2018 by Tom Motko

I was experiencing severe lower right back pain due to leg extension and tilt while driving my Jeep Wrangler Sahara. I LOVE my Jeep, but I can't drive ten minutes without my back hurting. I found this accelerator extender while looking for a solution. The concept makes sense, but once the device is attached to the gas pedal, it's almost exactly the same as the brake pedal. Several times my husband and I wanted to brake but accidentally accelerated and braked at the same time and the accelerator pedal won. You can drive with the device connected, but you have to be very conscious of your foot braking to make sure you don't put your foot on the accelerator. We ended up removing it because we were concerned that in an emergency, a person wouldn't be able to move their foot far enough to fully depress the accelerator pedal during sudden braking. And we gave this car to our college-age daughter and didn't want to increase any of the risk factors. However, we liked the left leg rest and left it in place.
