I love this microwave pot so much I bought two. This pot is also perfect for microwave pasta. Here's how it works: Put the desired amount of dried pasta in the pot. Add enough cold water to cover the noodles. The cooking time is very simple: just add 3 minutes to the cooking time indicated on the pasta package. (I mainly eat De Cecco brand penne and De Cecco brand gnocchi. I haven't tried cooking spaghetti but I think it will work if you cut the spaghetti in half of course. I cook with the lid open and then put the lid on turn on after cooking to drain any remaining water. You can also cook with the lid on. I don't stop the microwave to stir. I've found that when cooking the pasta I cook, it's not necessary .perfect every time and the taste is the same as using a pot on the stovetop.) I also use pots for soups. The pots come cool from the microwave. These pans offer a lot of convenience. I'm very glad I found her.
