We get what we paid for. As many people have noticed - it's super thin. I think because it's so thin the vapor doesn't linger or spread throughout the lining. The steam simply escapes through the thin lining. Good for getting steam out of the steam vents straight onto the floor, but not very good for cleaning the entire surface of a pad (e.g. the pad that comes with a steam mop) more evenly. A thin pad is wet near the steam vents and dry in the rest of the pad. It's also not very easy to slide across the floor, as many people have pointed out. It's not very durable. After washing a pad in a small room with a wooden floor, I can see "wear" on a thin fabric. Pros: cheap. Cons: Thin, doesn't help spread the vapor over most of the pad's surface, not very durable. Will I buy it at a profit after wearing them out? NO.
