Lock nut broken

This device works well. That's expected, with one exception. The lock nut that holds the plug in the hot air socket is cupped opposite the thread and cannot be unscrewed. It's a minor detail, but makes you wonder what else might have been overlooked inside. Regardless, I've kept it to see if anything else works (plus I needed it) and at the time of writing I've been using it for a few weeks with no issues. The air tool seems to work fine, but one possible defect with the blower is that it rattles slightly and changes speed slightly when you first pick it up or move it quickly. Bearing misalignment in the spindle possible. He looks kind of delicate. The main control box looks solid and works great. It's like outsourcing the accessories to a smaller manufacturer. The soldering iron works fine. It holds the temperature and heats up quickly as expected. I like the sleep mode. I don't leave it on when not in use as the main unit retains a small amount of heat, indicating it's consuming power for something even though it's not in use. It could be memory but it retains its settings when powered off so does it have internal batteries for memory or is it in stock firmware. The settings are simple and user-friendly. Overall a very good concept.
