Review on πŸ”§ ENOMAKER Near Ender: Optimal Direct Extruder for Enhanced Precision by Samiran Pusarla

Works great, good update and easy to install.

I was very happy with this purchase. (READ LAST SECTION IF YOU HAVE PRINTING PROBLEMS) My Bowden tube is popping out during printing or something is stuck inside. I was pleased with the easy installation. If you have experience building a printer (my Ender 3 Pro came unassembled) you should be more than capable of building one. My only recommendation is to think about wiring before installing a stepper motor. If you install the wires on the right side (screen) it sounds like you have what people refer to as electrical leakage or frequency leakage. This makes the screen on my Ender 3 just think someone is pressing a button and just switch between the main screen and the info screen. Therefore, rotate the cables on the left side of the screen to avoid this problem. Some things to consider when installing: - Play with the pull back distance, I didn't do this at first and my head got clogged by pulling the hot filament back too far and it was cooling. New extruders always need to calibrate the electronic steps, look for a tutorial on how to do this. - Wheels on the X-axis wear out much faster. I've played with their tension as much as possible to get them tight enough not to cause wobble, but no more, but it still wears them out. The wheels have to carry extra weight. Likely additional wear on the Z-axis Since the stepper motor isn't close to the Z-axis rod, it certainly causes a lot of stress moving the axis up and down. I've been typing for about 4-5 months and haven't seen any issues with prints so far, but you can probably hear the motor taking a heavy load as the axis moves.
