Works perfectly right out of the box
I've only tested it for 30 seconds now but . It takes two AAA batteries, the original OEM battery I had with the TV, which runs slow and fast where it doesn't do anything, so replacing with those works fine. Turns the TV on and off and the menus work (I've only tried the menus I use a lot that switch from antenna to DVD to cable etc. The old one got to where it barely moved through the menus to this new one do it like a champion.
