I like the size and initially liked how heavy they were. However, over time my opinion has changed. I bought them 3 months ago and filled them (within reason - no stuffing) with toys from my childhood. They have since been opened twice (monthly) and never used as bean bags. We had an old double sofa. When I went to close them for the third time, I noticed that the seam in one of the panels (not connected to the zipper) was already unraveling. Talk about disappointment. Now I don't want the kids using them as chairs and I'm glad I didn't buy a second set like I planned to do last month. I'm sure if they stayed half full and never moved and sat full again they would hold up just fine. However, having a family with children or something with the expectation of being able to sit on it is not realistic. At the moment I'm not even sure how it will hold up in the wash. I'm so sad because they have a beautiful color and look like high quality material.
