Review on Revolutionary Core Brick Concrete Block Pilot: Enhancing Construction Efficiency Like Never Before by Peter Parks

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Well done! - Power Tools and Hand Tools

The mini split installation requires drilling 3 holes in the concrete block wall. One of the holes was stuck. The drill worked much better than I expected since it was a dry drill. I suggest forgetting the pilot beat and saving it for other uses. The drill bit is too long to center properly and still does not center the blade. Not the hole saw's fault, it's just long. Instead, I drilled a 2.5" hole in a 2x4, then attached it to the wall with Tapcons and used it as a guide to run the diamond hole saw. Once it starts, it eats concrete! Be careful if you use a strong drill it will bind and twist your wrist or in my case spin the drill's motor and hit you in the nose! (My fault, not the product.) Worth every penny even if I'll never poke a hole in it again, but I certainly can.
