Overall I was extremely happy with my jig! This jig saved me a lot of time. I would definitely recommend it for a DIYer. Below I will explain my pictures.Fig. 1 I would recommend assembling it on a flat surface to avoid perpendicularity issues with the drill bushings. The hex wrench was supplied.Fig. 2 I checked the squareness after assembly and it was dead on, no gaps along my triangle.Fig. 3 I pinched the drill bushing holder on the ruler before tightening. I also recommend checking their location before each use. I did notice the set screws would loosen at times. I agree with other reviewers on this issue. If you keep an eye on them, it shouldn't be an issue. The anodizing seems to be a little slippery. I am assuming some kind of sealer was used.Fig. 4 I mounted the drill bushing lateral locator (that's what i call it) and checked it's squareness to the ruler. There was a slight gap at the top of the triangle. A .005" feeler gage fit and a .006" wouldn't. I called the gap .0055". In my case, this calculates into a .009" error for a 10" distance between the mounting holes on my hardware. I wasn't concerned with this amount. The diameter of a 5mm drill is .197" and my hardware used a 4mm (.1576") machine screw. That leaves you with plenty of room to adjust your hardware.Fig. 5 I put tape on the lateral locator to protect the cabinet or drawer surface.Fig. 6 I preferred to use a clamp to hold the jig. It makes everything a whole lot easier.Remember to check the drill bushing locations and set screw tightness before each use.The drill bushings are a little soft. If the drill bit is always in line with the drill bushing axis they will last a long time. A second pair of bushings are included just in case.Happy hardware mounting
