Will not stick to wooden floors - slips

Cannot be used on wooden floors. I wish the seller had made it clear that it cannot be used on wooden floors. It would save me time (hours). Buyers be careful, do not buy this item if you have wooden floors. They say they have various parts with rubber underneath but I haven't seen it myself, you can search or ask them. They also say that you can buy felt and put it on yourself (but I don't know if that even works, maybe rubber will help, I don't know, I'm returning it). That's why I gave it 2 stars - the lack of details that need to be included and they could be more prominent. If I had known it would slide on wooden floors and not hold the door - I would never have ordered and took all the time. The item itself is nice and sturdy but useless to me. Have a nice day. PS update - we don't use it as a doorstop but kept it on the floor anyway as a cool, sturdy iron dog sculpture, tucked under a bookshelf (sort of). So for sculpture/art it works for us so I upgraded it to 3 stars for the cute factor but we don't use it as a stopper on wooden floors. I think you can possibly get support for it or build it with something underneath that might prevent it from slipping if you want and you can experiment with it or ask them or others who have had success with it.
