They do NOT connect to each other
I bought a set of 3, 6 in total. This batch is defective and no combination of 6 provides a secure fit. They go into the 'closed' position effortlessly and slide the same way easily out again. This is not user error. They are of poor quality and do not connect to each other. Once the tension on the chain is released, the two parts can separate and the entire chain will fall off the bike.
