Review on Kolar Labs Premium Catalytic Activated Carbon: Tap ๐Ÿ’ง Water & Aquarium Chlorine, Chloramine, and Hydrogen Sulfide Removal by Lisa Carter

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Drops mountains of coal dust into the water

After running about 40 gallons through it, the TDS of my water entering the filter was 0 parts per million, but still came out at 15+ parts per million and was useless. So obviously only carbon powder is poured into the water. I have messaged the company for advice on what to do and they have not responded. Eventually I got tired of it. I poured the charcoal into a container of reverse osmosis water. The water turned black. I titrated the small particles and added pure water again, turning it black again. It took ten flushes for the water to clear. Even 5 years ago there were no airborne particles. Immediately after reinstallation, the TDS issue disappeared. The next day it was back to 12+ ppm. I do not know what to do. If I move it in front of the membrane, it clogs the membrane and I filter waste water for no reason, and the flow rate increases, which aggravates the situation. I think I'll try to add another mud filter at the end. Next time, of course, buy from a different company. Very annoying. Especially when the seller finally responds and just brags about how good their product is and doesn't do anything for me. I sent them all of this in response and they still haven't responded. You can come and have a glass of delicious sparkling water.
