The stools seem to be very good, I have just assembled them so I cannot comment on wear and longevity. a note on assembly. The legs go into the seat and there are wooden gussets in each corner and bolts go through the gussets and to the legs. The gussets are false and end up with a 1/2 inch gap between the gussets and the legs and if you keep tightening to narrow the gap and make the legs tight you will break the leg like I did . I've played around a bit and found a good middle ground that may require retightening of the screws, we'll see.
