The product description really should state the fact that they only work if your sockets allow you to insert a screw midway between two insertion points place. Traffic jams. I only had one of these outlets in my house, and the rest have two screws (one on top and one on the bottom) and the screw in the middle has nowhere to go, so I can't even use the rest of the covers. The one I've been able to use barely holds a cord, I certainly can't imagine it ever holding two cords, and the cords must be very thin. I just plugged a small Ikea lamp into the socket I attached this cover to. You can only wrap the cord a few times before it becomes too unwieldy to close the lid. It hardly shortens my cord and the lid comes off easily. It was a good idea but I don't recommend it.
