Attention parents of VERY thin and thin girls, this review is for you! I read many reviews before purchasing these breeches so I would like to add my point of view. My daughter is 9 years old but wears a size 7 or 8 and is VERY skinny. So many comments on this product talk about how small these pants are and a size too big. I thought maybe this would actually work for my little daughter with green beans. I bought a size 8 for my daughter (no higher than suggested) and found they fit in length but oversized in the waist and legs. I was so disappointed after everything I had read. I know a lot of people think their kids are very skinny, but some of us have very skinny kids. If your child is really very skinny and tiny which makes it terribly difficult to put on jeans, leggings tend to be baggy and you need to order tight sizes in skinny jeggings, these pants are NOT suitable. your daughter. Sorry, other reviewers' descriptions should be for average skinny kids, not your very skinny kid. That issue aside, the pants appear to be a good fit and are probably perfect for a thinner child.
