The best I've found so far.

They are great for my young rider all year round. Of course, they're "small" because they're designed to fit snugly. This time however I bought a much larger size to get more years out of them as they get bigger and bigger. They're comfortable, offer excellent freedom of movement, and are easy to forget about while you focus on the pitch. These are the only pair I will buy in the future and the only brand I will recommend to other parents for their children. The sand color is my absolute…

sand is great jeans are a disappointment

we ordered two of these in sand and denim both 14 sides sand is great. Jeans are a big disappointment! Check out the attached photos - they were about 1-2 inches longer at the waist and about 3 inches shorter at the leg! I thought it had to be the same just a different color?! We sent the jeans back and I only had to buy a second pair of sandals as she needs two. Too bad because she wanted other colors, but I don't risk ordering another denim or color - at least I know the sand will fit. On the

great breeches

I read a lot of reviews before buying and thought I'd add mine given the size. I bought a size 8 for my petite, lean 7 year old (43lbs) expecting them to be tall but needed some room to grow. Sure they were very big for her BUT they looked just about right for an 8 year old. The neckline is wide at the waist and hips so I can see they will always be loose on a slim girl. They have no waist adjustment but belt loops. I used a sewing machine, sewed the waist and side seams and made two darts at…

Enough for two shows

I bought these pants because my 8 year old son started showing horses. She doesn't jump with high intensity, just two English lessons where she paces the horse up and down to the rhythm and maybe paints, that's all. These are short lessons. After the first showing, I noticed that the crotch looked like it was about to start tearing, so I ordered a second pair, thinking that maybe the first pair just wasn't a very good pair. At the next show she wore a second pair and I noticed the same thing…

Not suitable for VERY thin girls

Attention parents of VERY thin and thin girls, this review is for you! I read many reviews before purchasing these breeches so I would like to add my point of view. My daughter is 9 years old but wears a size 7 or 8 and is VERY skinny. So many comments on this product talk about how small these pants are and a size too big. I thought maybe this would actually work for my little daughter with green beans. I bought a size 8 for my daughter (no higher than suggested) and found they fit in length…

Pros
  • Imported
Cons
  • There are problems

I ordered this item for my daughter's first riding camp and received it very quickly. I took the advice of the previous reviews and ordered a size up. My daughter just turned 10 and is now a size 10-12. She likes to feel comfortable in the stomach area, so I ordered size 14. It was the right decision, the pants fit perfectly on the hips - not tight and not too loose. It's the same with the hips: the size is just right, some room but not too much. The length of the legs is much longer than I…
