I bought these to build a recurve rest rest. I 3D printed the parts, then cut them to length and assembled them. They are much stronger and more reliable than wooden Dow rods. I've tried two different bows on the tackle and these rods hold up like a champ and are incredibly light. A word of caution as they are not strong you can put too much pressure on them while holding them. clamp table. I accidentally flattened/cracked one end and had to pry off a small section like a crowbar because of it.
