I recommend that you know what you are doing before using it. I had to ask a friend for help, but overall I found a second chip to match my old one and pumped up my RAM to 16GB. It took me forever to find it in the available range, but I ended up getting some extra RAM. Now all I need is a better processor or just a new PC because what I have now is pretty overpowered, which is saying a lot for a low-end gaming PC that used to be an office PC. Will definitely get more of these chips when I need much more powerful DDR3 memory.
