Review on 🌡️ Dorman 599-211 Climate Control Module for Specific Vehicle Models by Cris Drew

The temperature controller on my original stopped working properly so I ordered it. OEM is $500 so I figured it would be the best alternative. It's pretty easy to install. Remove instrument panel, unscrew 2 screws, disconnect and then reinstall in reverse order. There are also some programming hints in the box that you should pay attention to. My biggest complaints are 1) It's a lot brighter than standard buttons and dashboard. It dims and brightens with truck controls, but is always much brighter. It bothers me a bit at night, but it also bothers me because it looks cheap. 2) The 7 segment digital display and associated gauges worked well at first. Then, after about two weeks, they suddenly become so dark that they are difficult to read during the day. For example, part of the device's lighting is too bright at night and the other part is too dark during the day. than $500 so I would probably buy it again with no other alternative. I think before ordering this I would check all the dumps first.
