I purchased this product because I thought the backlight would make the keys easier to read as I am visually impaired. It's not - the backlight is nice but dim, and typing on the keys isn't dim enough to be more legible. I found the keyboard easier to read with the backlight off as the backlight tends to blur the letters on the keyboard (at least for me). Otherwise there are no serious problems with the device.
