I really don't like anything about this water filter pitcher. Water quality: The water didn't taste any better - I bought drinking water again. There are bits of charcoal in my filtered water, even after doing the initial "filter and reset" more times than intended. Ergonomics: Poor (no pun intended). The design of the jug and spout lid makes pouring difficult. Sometimes a tiny stream flows out and it flows for an eternity; and sometimes a tsunami comes out and spills everywhere if you pour it into a smaller hole like a refillable water bottle. Also, as other reviews have mentioned, the lid is very difficult to remove for refilling. Thought it wouldn't be a big deal, but every time you need to refill it gets pretty frustrating to struggle with the lid. that's a lot because it's a smaller jug (no complaints about the size which is exactly as described and more suited to a single person or a couple family). All in all I wasted my money on this.
