Review on πŸ”Œ Powermax PM4 75A 110V AC to 12V DC 75 Amp Power Converter with Advanced 4 Stage Smart Battery Charging System by Collin Donahue

Powerful and stable

I installed a power meter and charged the energy-hungry pack with 32 batteries. I have a 100 amp unit. It produces a stable 80 amps. Sometimes I see it rising a little higher. My brother hooked it up the wrong way and the fuses blew. Replace the fuses and everything will work great. The fan is quiet and appears to have variable speed, rarely turning on when the current is less than 20 amps. The voltage is very stable and the device outputs a higher voltage during the first bulk charge, but then when the battery starts to draw less current the device lowers the voltage for slower charging. Sometimes during this transition the output briefly drops to zero which can be a problem if you're using it as a power supply without a battery, if your powered device is reducing the current draw only testing will tell and since I'm not running it, I'm mine btw not sure if your devices are actually leaking power or not. I compared it to a 100 amp Napa car charger. The Napa charger delivered a third of its rated value no matter what value I set, and often refused to charge the batteries, claiming they were bad. This charger has had no such issues and so far I am very satisfied. I've been using it actively for a month

Pros
