Carbon haze in filtration system under sink and countertop

Like some others, our water seems to have turned dark due to carbon haze. The second of the two is not used. I bought another 5 micron filter and it works fine.

Pros

Finer mesh activated carbon filters out more contaminants than standard carbon filters
