Review on Dyvicl Metallic Markers Paint Marker Scrapbooking & Stamping by Gelin Battle

Revainrating 4 out of 5

They're not that metallic, but they're comfortable to use.

I bought these markers to refill my stash of better metallic paint markers. I have this set and another one with a brush. I use many different types of markers, but here are some of my notes on the subject. These markers color very nicely, color very easily, and leave a good, solid, opaque mark on most paper. I don't catch myself repainting the same area over and over, which sometimes makes the paper look raw. While they're a lot of fun to paint with, I don't find some of the colors particularly metallic. Maybe they are more visible on dark paper. However, they are very opaque, so if you are coloring adult coloring books for example, they will hide the black lines on the paper if you color over them (encouraged to stay inside the lines I think :-), but coloring is very small . Detail areas are difficult and I don't care about the result. You can see some of the design lines, but if you paint over them with a marker you can't. It makes the end result a bit sloppy in my opinion if that's something you care about. I think they are best for writing or freehand drawing designs. Warning: the cap color of many of these will not match the color you see when you use them on paper. So try them all before jumping on one - the colors of the markers themselves (physical pens) are all very muted. but the actual color on some very light. In general, these are very good markers, but they have a limited and specific utility.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
