I have had this carpet on my back deck for 2 years and 9 months. The whole time the carpet lay under my arbor. It didn't wear out until the mount recently broke loose from the mat. It was easy to clean, I just hosed it down. it also helped prevent mosquitoes from below decks. Sometimes the wind blows and the corners blow off and I have to reattach them. One minus - the initial folds on the carpet were not smoothed out. I like the rug and will buy another one. After spending $50 and surviving almost 3 full years in the Texan heat, cold and storms including hail I think it was worth it. The carpet was out the whole time so yes I will buy another one. I'm already looking forward to the next carpet, I pull it tight and fasten it with roofing nails so that it doesn't stick together in the wind, maybe that will also help against creases.
