Great rug!: Rugs

Very happy with this rug. It is extremely durable. It rains a lot here in Maryland, when it rains it rains heavily. The last carpet I left permanently wet after rain and water marks. This does not get wet and all dirt falls through, so less dirt gets in. It's even comfortable enough for bare feet. It costs a little more, but will probably survive me. A good buy!

A good basic product that should last forever

That's exactly how a doormat should be - strong, heavy (so it doesn't fly away), effective and relatively cheap. They are made of tire-like material and should last forever. Be sure to pay a little more and get the ones with the "stack" on top; The pile makes them much more effective at removing dirt from shoes. The lint-free ones are cheaper, but if you want the rug you want, you want the best.

Nice sturdy rug - outdoor decoration

I'm enjoying this May very much. I live in South Florida and all my other rugs have been soaked in water and may crush (coconut shell) or fade and tear (molded rubber with a pattern printed on it). This item is very strong and durable. And conducts water and dries in a reasonable time. No dirt is of course not visible. A bit of fluffiness of the upper is slightly worn where I step all the time but barely noticeable. My house is decorated in a modern style, so its appearance doesn't bother me at

excellent, I recommend!

I have had this mat for about 4 months now. It's right outside our back door that we use all the time. I noticed a little wear but not a ton. It has withstood the sting of my kids, my 100 lb dog and my husband's big feet. Our tailgate keeps the sun out, so when it rains the carpet stays damp, but it still leaves large drops of water on your shoes. I like the holes that allow large chunks of dirt to fall through so you don't just push the dirt around like you would a regular flat rug. It makes a

Heavy-duty mats

The thing will probably withstand a direct nuclear strike. It's durable, it's not uncomfortable to walk on it barefoot, it will definitely stay in place and won't slip. It's easy to clean and easy to store (although I don't know why anyone would want to keep it at all unless they're moving to a new house). In short, it's every bit as good as most other reviewers have said. I have a small problem, but it's not the carpet's fault. Because the mat is very thick, the rubber pad on the underside of…

Wow I've been looking through many doormats to find the best ones and this one is definitely EXCEPTIONAL. When I was looking for a rug for my front door, I'm so glad I accidentally found it. I have a dog that chases water out of the patio due to water pooling right outside my door. With this mat, everyone can walk without stepping into a pool of water because the mat is above the water. Any dirt on their feet will be wiped off the carpet surface. It's heavy and stays on my windswept deck, nice…

Absolutely 5 Stars - Exterior Decoration

Absolutely 5 Stars. This thing is heavy and strong, and its parts are held together by strong metal parts inside. The whole thing folds in between small, straight pieces - each piece is attached next to it, essentially with a small hinge. It arrived "folded". Undoubtedly, this rubber will stand up to years of use. It's thick and durable. Does the polished part on the surface appear to be woven into some of the smaller tire segments? So it looks like some of them pick up dirty stuff along the…

Built like a tank and won't blow away.

I am very glad that I bought this rug. We hunt A LOT, and since we always have to clean our shoes and boots when we come in the back door, I needed a good outdoor rug that would clean our boots and last long outdoors. I bought a regular black rubber mat with protruding rubber fingers. They work perfectly, but after 1-2 months all the rubber fingers start to break off. They go all over the back porch, making their way around the house and rendering the carpet unusable. It also needs to be…

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • For old

PROS: + Stays in place - it's a heavy duty mat that stays where you put it unlike some of the other thinner recycled rubber mats/tires I've had. Others slid across the cement as moisture accumulated between the mat and the cement below. The fabric top is great for both. + Easy maintenance and long life - clean the hose and it's like new. While they may seem expensive, after looking at how much it costs to replace the decorative versions every 12-18 months, I beat the game on cost for the first…
