I'm enjoying this May very much. I live in South Florida and all my other rugs have been soaked in water and may crush (coconut shell) or fade and tear (molded rubber with a pattern printed on it). This item is very strong and durable. And conducts water and dries in a reasonable time. No dirt is of course not visible. A bit of fluffiness of the upper is slightly worn where I step all the time but barely noticeable. My house is decorated in a modern style, so its appearance doesn't bother me at all. Simple and unobtrusive. valuable investment. Update May 2018: The carpet still looks great.
