Absolutely fantastic five stars for this coffee maker. The coffee is hot and ready for making cold cream and always stays hot. The size of this pot is awesome. Much better than the fab goods we used to buy! Try to find a large coffee mug made out of thick, handcrafted earthenware. I really liked the on/off switch on the side. The coffee tastes much better. This is the one you should have. We use ground Starbucks "Expresso Roast” for a French press or percolator. We like the platform for the French press. Fill to the 8-cup line with water, then scoop out 1/8 scoop of coffee (always at Walmart) with 5 scoops of coffee. Then switch on. HAVE FUN!
