I have had many drink holders on the handlebars over the years riding my bike for 30 years on the boardwalk. I love that it has a sturdy clip and is easy to mount on most round bike handlebars or boat handrails. The cup holder material appears to be fairly durable and seems to stand up to the roughest of handling, spills and beach weather. The only real issue I have is that the small screw and washer that you use to attach the cup holder to the handlebar clamp is pretty flimsy. It looks like they could fit the two pieces together better with a larger bracket and screw. Because that bolt and washer are so small, the cup holder bounces up and down violently every time you hit a small bump in the road or pavement. So much so that I have to hold my mug on bumpy roads instead of cooling it down. On smooth roads and paths it works great without any problems. If you ride bumpy roads and don't want to spill your drinks, look for a better holder that doesn't bounce as much. I have already bought a second holder to replace this one.
