These are the tires that came on my Kuga when it left the factory. During the winter, I did not use tires but rather spikes instead. However, you should not use them in the summer, the early spring, or the late fall; they are not appropriate for those seasons. This is especially true if you need to transition from asphalt to primer or gravel. It is not going to work at all for truly off-road conditions, such as mud or snow. It is balanced from year to year as a matter of course, but there was one time when it needed to be rebalanced because it had gotten into a massive hole in the spring and had started hitting the steering wheel. There were no punctures, and hernias and other flaws that needed openings were not found. I only tested at speeds of 60–70 kilometers per hour, but driving through moderate puddles went smoothly. To summarize: it has an acceptable price, it grips wet and dry asphalt effectively, and you can drive down on it while doing some minor off-roading.
