Review on ๐Ÿ”ต 3M Disposable Plastic Wheel Maskers, 12-15 inch, 125/box, 1 case by Joseph Morris

Not suitable for car paintwork

I bought these hoping they would slide around the bike like a garbage bag but they are open at the back. The back of the boot is only partially closed (about 1/3), hooking into the tire and holding the front like a big flap over the wheel. This would be good for detailing to get some polish/wax/sand off the Wheels to remove but not good for painting as they need to be glued to the tire (which doesn't stick well) and the top corners are touching the bodywork so they need to be glued too. It takes too long and inconvenient to use, and do not cover the entire wheel, only the top and face. It's really just a curtain and not real wheel camouflage for collision work. The search for a good disposable concealer that sticks firmly in place continues.

Pros
  • High density tear resistant masks
Cons
  • Not bad but...
