This product definitely convinced my wife and me. A reverse osmosis filter was out of the question for us because of the cost, water usage, maintenance costs, etc. So in the end it was the best choice for our budget and needs. To ensure we were receiving a quality product we conducted a blind tasting test between the following 4 types of water: - The new TapMaster Jr. Elite - New DuPont tap water filter (PUR equivalent) - New GE fridge filter - unfiltered (tap water). To our surprise, we were able to successfully distinguish the taste several times without fail in our judgment. We found that TapMaster Jr. Elite was the tastiest water with the least odd taste and smell. Second best was a DuPont faucet filter, then GE, which was pretty bad considering it costs $30 to replace the filter. Of course, after trying TapMaster Jr. filtered water, clean tap water was terrible. Elite. So overall very happy with this product. Hope this review helps.
