I'm nowhere near a home cook these days but this is my first time using a garlic press. First separate 3 pieces of garlic and use the husk that came with the garlic to remove the paper. I was amazed at how easy it was. Back then, almost no weight was required to use a garlic press. The included brush made it easy to squeeze the garlic out of the press.
