if you want to landline your next-gen laptop. I would recommend this device. This particular device requires no additional power supply. It occupies a Type-C port and you cannot use it for other purposes such as B. to connect a hard drive. You cannot use this device to transfer a device image over a network. The speed is a bit slower than a true gigabit, but I assume it's because you're using an adapter. To be honest, it's not that big of a difference where you can tell. Overall, this is a great adapter if you're looking to reconnect your device to a wired connection, and with many devices coming from the built-in Ethernet, it's a great investment.
