We have a lion head rabbit. When we bought it they sent us home with some wood shavings for the garbage (maybe pine) and while they smelled nice to me they were sooooo dirty. They got tangled up in my rabbit hair and scattered all over the house. On the other hand, these pellets are great. They don't seem to spread easily and have never become tangled in her coat. They hold and absorb urine well and I haven't noticed any bad smells. When we first switched we mixed 50% of this and wood and then about 75/25 until we switched to 100% of this product and the rabbit was fine.
