So far this microwave has met all my expectations but it has only been two weeks. After spending hours reading countless reviews of different brands of microwave ovens on the market. I had mixed feelings and serious concerns about the quality of all the ovens on the market today because I found too many negative reviews. But my old microwave died, I needed a replacement, and today no kitchen can do without a microwave. So many dissatisfied customers with each brand made it difficult for me to choose. This was surprising as my old microwave has served me well for over fifteen years. I chose Toshiba based on features, size and price. But it's still very new and I haven't fully tested it yet. So far I am happy and have cooked popcorn in my microwave popcorn maker so far and was surprised when the oven decided 3 minutes was long enough while in my old oven the same amount took 5 minutes in my old oven (1100). W), about the same number have not been disclosed. Then I tested the Toshiba sensor function with a cup of tea water. I am very comfortable. The oven showed me how smart it is, the readings really got me heating the water and the timing was 30 seconds, it was perfect. My old oven took a minute again, just before it died it took longer and longer, a full 90 seconds. Toshiba used their smart sensors, cool. Then I reheated the veg right out of the rather cold fridge, it reheated perfectly without spoiling its appearance, again with the help of my smart sensor. All I had to do was plug it in and press "on" without trying and guessing how long it would take for a perfect warm-up. It's so simple that I didn't even have to read and play around with complex instructions. Well, I have to admit that I've never cooked elaborate meals in the past and have no intention of moving on to gourmet or elaborate meals, especially when I'm almost done. It requires a certain amount of reading microwave manuals to press all the buttons in the right order. I mostly stuck to reheats, frozen meals, popcorn, and softened butter, preferring guesswork based on past experience to mastering manual reading. I love to spend my time researching and trying new recipes. I like cooking. So I was glad that this Toshiba microwave oven had a clearly written, well organized and short but concise manual. So I actually read everything, but now they sit by the stove to explore new options if needed. I'll probably have to learn how to use any of the whistles that come with this oven, such as melting or softening butter and chocolate, something I'll be using with my pad. I kept the box it came in because I read some reviews where it broke in no time and the box had to be sent back. There have been too many testimonials from disappointed customers about ovens that didn't make it past the 30 day return period and it still worries me. I'm too old to lift and lower heavy stoves from the shelves, they don't seem as light as they did when I was younger, so I'm hoping I won't need the crate in mine anyway. This oven, while smaller than most ovens on the market, is larger than my old one, but I got it to work. I checked the size before purchasing and this size is smaller than most. I've also made sure that the cable ends up exactly where it is, as some customers have had issues with the length. The last thing I seriously considered, with so many reviews being written again, was an oven failure with a warranty that was either too short, didn't cover everything, or wasn't honored by the manufacturer. One problem I encountered several times with these reviews was that the customer had to endure workarounds to enforce the warranty. I've learned in my life that it's worth thinking about buying an extra warranty. Just think about the price of a replacement device and how many warranty issues a person is willing to put up with, e.g. B. Having to bring a microwave oven in for repair Shop from miles from home to find out they no longer service that make or model. Also read the fine print of the extended warranty you are purchasing. Based on the many reviews I have read I have learned that so many microwave ovens fail within the short and minimal warranty they come with and the above inconveniences can be caused by repairs and I have an additional extended one Warranty purchased through Revain. I'm going to experiment with my new smart microwave, test its "brains" and tell you about my experiences. Overall I really like this Toshiba microwave so far and I want to use it to the fullest. I hope to enjoy my new microwave for many years without a headache and no need for a warranty. This is my hope. I'll post an update once I have some time to get to know my new smart microwave.
