Installation is simple: remove the VVT solenoid harness bracket from the valve cover and gently pry up the harness next to the throttle body to slide the spacer underneath. It fits snugly in the coolant reservoir, but it's doable. When connecting a short hose to a flex section, I found that there was less stress on the hose when the 90 degree elbow was attached to the separator and the other end to the inlet, which is the opposite of most installation videos I've seen . on Youtube. Make up your own mind, but this trail doesn't have such an extreme angle. If you're worried about the hassle of getting the hoses back in place and pinching them, that's fine. Make sure you fully engage and lock the fittings as they will double click before fully engaging. It will be interesting to see how they fare under load with the engine running.
