The thing works and amazingly connected almost as well as via ethernet. Ease of installation. I never had to do anything with it after plugging it into the PCIE slot. No driver updates, nothing. Update: I've been using this Wi-Fi card for about a year now. Everything was fine until today. I brought my computer to work, but it wouldn't connect to the Wi-Fi network. After trying a few things I gave in and uninstalled the device so it could fetch the drivers again. There was an error. My computer now refuses to recognize the card at all and nothing I've tried has helped. I have to admit that after just a year of use, this card either stopped working or there was a problem with my PCI-e slot. My money on the card is dead.
